odyssey needs: seven things. 1. cam-360-view. 2. awd. 3. pano-roof. 4. timing chain instead of silly belt. 5. hybrid with large battery. (or diesel or LPG CNG options). also 6. electronically folding mirrors. 7. slow follow automatic mode. (and i dont remember if it has a cooler-box mini frige.,, if not it should be as well as number #8.)

Still love our 2016 Odyssey Elite and found no strong reasons to upgrade to the latest version. Honda is really behind it’s competitors. The exterior design is now even more boring than prior years. Also, time for a full electric Odyssey, or at least a PHEV, Honda. When you get there, I’ll upgrade.
I tried others hybrid models, very low powered unlike Odyssey
I think if they dont get Hybrid (or PHEV) and AWD, it is going to lag behind all others..

@yogurtlite The PacHy sees almost double mpg at 80 mpge or double the Sienna for daily driving.
This is the best of what minivans USED to be. The end of an era.
If you want what’s next, look at the 2021 Sienna.

Model is very attractive. Interior design and exterior are so good. But I couldn’t know the price.
My 2011 Odyssey has all the same features except for the foot rear hatch opener and it even looks the same minus the flashy led bulbs. However; my 2011 has an ice box that keeps drinks cold. I love Honda, but when are they going to actually upgrade this van? No one wants to pay that price for something they can get cheaper in an older year.

Time for a refresh Honda, also your 2014-2017 Honda Odysseys were the best ones, bring back the cool box, Honda vac, removable center console, and wide rear seat entertainment with a pano sunroof

Other makers work really hard and too hard to try to beat Odyssey. 2022 Odyssey stands out on top in terms of styling, reliability, power and utility again.
The Honda Odyssey has some serious reliability issues. Avoid them like a plague.

Very nice! I have a 2002 odyssey but I wouldn’t mind having this one if it doesn’t have a transmission problem I never had problems with the 2002 but there were some years of the odyssey were having transmission problems.
im gonna buy this car for my family.
